Students learn how to identify target audiences, build competitive advantage, measure the effectiveness of communication channels, and use marketing as a tool to drive positive social change. The program starts with core business fundamentals in first year before specialising in marketing strategy, product positioning, and digital and creative communications.

The Global Year 1 program, a UK Higher National Certificate, is designed for students who want to accelerate their undergraduate education, saving time and money while building a solid academic base for an international degree. The program allows students to complete up to one year of their undergraduate degree remotely from home and then progress to an overseas campus to complete the remainder of their degree.

After the completion of the Smart Program, students progress to the University of Wollongong to study the remaining core and elective courses on campus and complete their degrees.
