If you have ambitions to organise a rock concert, community arts festival, business conference or major sporting event, an event management major is for you. Event managers design, organise and coordinate conventions, conferences, exhibitions, public celebrations, opening ceremonies, tradeshows and festivals. They are responsible for every aspect of events from marketing, catering, signage, displays, translation, audio-visual equipment, security and monitoring the overall budget. A Griffith event management major gives you the essential business skills and specialist knowledge needed to put you at the forefront of this amazing industry.

    All India School Certificate (CBSE): Successful completion of AISCE with an overall GPA of 50% in the best 4 subjects India Higher Secondary School Certificate (State Boards): average of 55% or above in 4 subjects

Program Structure

Stage A: Online Learning

The online program is brought to you by UniSmarter. The online program is designed to develop a solid foundation for your overseas studies and get you accustomed to the university’s academic standards. Each online module takes 7 weeks to complete and you can take upto 2 modules at a time thereby finishing the entire online component within 3.5 months. With our student friendly online focussed curriculum and award winning 1-1 tutor program you will be well on your way to your dream destination. Modules done online are fully recognised for equivalent credit by Griffith University via Griffith College

  • 1. COMM100: Writing and Research for Business & Commerce

  • 2. ACTG102: Accounting for Business Management

  • 3. MATH102: Introduction to Statistics

  • 4. BUSS103: Principles of Marketing

Stage B: On Campus Learning (Remainder of Yr 1, Yr 2 and Yr 3)

Upon completion of the online modules, you will articulate to Griffith College and Griffith University to complete the rest of your education. You will complete the remaining core and elective modules for this program on campus and get your degree. All students who complete the program qualify for post-study work-rights.

  • Confirm enrolment

    Accept your offer by submitting a confirmation fee of INR 25,000 within 5 days of receiving the admission offer. Since we have limited seats, enrolment would be void if confirmation fee is not received as stated.
