The MS in Data Science program, prepares students for careers in big data by developing skills in machine learning, quantitative analysis, and data-driven decision-making. The curriculum includes core courses and electives in areas like biostatistics, business intelligence, and cybersecurity. Students will gain expertise in managing massive datasets, applying advanced algorithms, and implementing real-world solutions.

After the completion of the Smart Program, students progress to University of Alabama at Birmingham to study the remaining core and elective courses on campus and complete their degrees.
