The Event Management major equips students with the necessary knowledge and practical skills required to excel as event management professionals in various contemporary event settings. In today’s landscape, employers favour graduates who possess analytical, practical, and transferable employability skills such as leadership, teamwork, critical thinking, communication, and problem-solving. The major covers essential business principles, practices, and skills including marketing, communications, sponsorship, service experience management, human resources, strategic management, funding, finance, business event management, sport venue and event management, marketing analytics, event staging, logistics, and operations management. Please note that this major cannot be pursued within the Bachelor of Event, Sport, and Recreation Management program.
The UniSmarter is created in partnership with Navitas. The program develops a solid foundation for overseas studies by accustoming students to the university’s academic standards. The program takes place over 4 months during which they study 3 or 4 modules or equivalent to 1 term of undergraduate studies. With our student-friendly curriculum and award-winning 1-1 tutor program, students will be well on their way to their dream destination.

After the completion of the Smart Program, students progress to Edith Cowan University via Edith Cowan College to study the remaining core and elective courses on campus and complete the degree.
