This degree teaches students how to manage the complex relationships between employers and employees. Students will learn about employment law, labour market issues, wage systems, and occupational health and safety. The program also covers staff recruitment, training, performance management, and organisational change. Graduates will be equipped to advise organisations on their staffing needs and improve business efficiency.

The Global Year-1 program is designed for students who want to accelerate their undergraduate education, saving time and money while building a solid academic base in Australia, Singapore or the UK. The program allows students to complete up to one year of their undergraduate degree remotely from home and then progress to campus to complete the remainder of their degree. In order to advance to Griffith University students must achieve an overall Pass (with no failed modules) in The WorldGrad's Global Year-1 program. Students will study the following 8 modules with The WorldGrad.
After the completion of the Smart Program, students progress to the Griffith University to study the remaining core and elective courses on campus and complete their degrees.
