The Bachelor of Commerce with a specialization in Banking and Finance program at James Cook University focuses on financial institutions, investment strategies, and the dynamics of the financial world. Students will gain insights into the functioning of banks, financial markets, and the management of financial assets. The program prepares students for roles in banking, investment analysis, financial management, and financial consulting. The Global Online Accelerator Program is designed for students who want to accelerate their undergraduate education, saving time and money while building a solid academic base in Australia, Singapore or the UK. The program allows students to complete up to a term of their undergraduate degree remotely from home and then progress to campus to complete the remainder of their degree. In order to advance to James Cook University students must achieve an overall Pass in all modules of the Global Online Accelerator Program. Students will study the following 4 modules with The WorldGrad.
After the completion of the Smart Program, students progress to James Cook University or the University of Wollongong via UOW College to study the remaining core and elective courses on campus and complete the degree.
