Program Structure

Term 1: Smart Program

The Global Online Accelerator Program is designed for students who want to accelerate their undergraduate education, saving time and money while building a solid academic base in Australia, Singapore or the UK. The program allows students to complete up to a term of their undergraduate degree remotely from home and then progress to campus to complete the remainder of their degree. In order to advance to James Cook University students must achieve an overall Pass in all modules of the Global Online Accelerator Program. Students will study the following 4 modules with The WorldGrad.

  • 1. WGIT128 - Introduction to Web Technology

  • 2. WGIT127 - Networks and Communications

  • 3. WGIT111 - Programming Fundamentals

  • 4. WGIT114 - System Analysis

Term 2 Onwards: On-Campus

After the completion of the Smart Program, students progress to James Cook University or the University of Wollongong via UOW College to study the remaining core and elective courses on campus and complete the degree.
