The Bachelor of Information Technology program at James Cook University is designed to equip students with the technical and problem-solving skills needed to excel in various information technology roles. The curriculum covers areas such as computer programming, software development, database management, and systems analysis. Students will gain proficiency in coding, network management, and IT project development. The program emphasizes both theoretical understanding and hands-on practical experience, making graduates well-prepared for careers in software engineering, systems administration, and technology-related roles.
The Global Online Accelerator Program is created in partnership with UOW College, Australia. The program develops a solid foundation for overseas studies by accustoming students to the university’s academic standards. Each module takes 7 weeks to complete, wherein students can take up to 2 modules at a time. With our student-friendly curriculum and award-winning 1-1 tutor program, students will be well on their way to their dream destination. Modules done with The WorldGrad are fully recognised for equivalent credit by James Cook University and the University of Wollongong via UOW College.
After the completion of the Smart Program, students progress to James Cook University or the University of Wollongong via UOW College to study the remaining core and elective courses on campus and complete the degree. All students who complete the degree successfully, qualify for post-study work rights. Further information on the on-campus program structure and courses are available with our Admissions Team.
