The Accountancy degree focuses on delivering accurate and timely information for decision-makers, particularly in economic matters. Whether employed by a multinational corporation, government agency, or working in public practice, accountants play a crucial role in advising senior management on the financial performance and future direction of an organisation. The program includes a foundational year covering essential business disciplines, providing a comprehensive understanding of contemporary organisational challenges. Starting from the second year, students delve into advanced accountancy subjects. By pursuing a Bachelor of Business with a specialisation in Accountancy, students acquire the knowledge and skills necessary for various business careers such as accountant, auditor, business analyst, treasurer, corporate accountant, financial controller, and advisor. Additionally, students participate in a final-year capstone course, collaborating with students from other disciplines to apply their acquired knowledge. Moreover, students have the option to apply for an internship, allowing them to gain valuable practical experience and earn credits towards their degree.
