This field focuses on the influence of diverse cultures, languages, market variations, and government regulations within a rapidly evolving environment. It also encompasses the study of foreign exchange markets and the impact of exchange rate policies. To pursue this degree, you will commence with a foundation year covering essential business disciplines, providing you with a comprehensive understanding of contemporary organisational challenges. Starting from your second year, you will specialise in International Business, where you will gain knowledge in international marketing strategies considering factors such as socio-economic conditions, legal frameworks, political landscapes, financial aspects, and cultural elements that influence regional markets.
This specialisation will also explore entry and expansion strategies as well as contemporary issues in multinational business settings. Career opportunities in International Business include roles such as importers, exporters, international business analysts, international bankers, foreign exchange traders, and trade specialists. As part of your final-year studies, you will engage in a capstone project that allows you to apply your acquired knowledge in collaboration with students from diverse disciplines. Additionally, you have the option to pursue an internship, enabling you to gain practical experience while earning credits toward your degree.

The Global Online Accelerator Program is designed for students who want to accelerate their undergraduate education, saving time and money while building a solid academic base in Australia, Singapore or the UK. The program allows students to complete up to a term of their undergraduate degree remotely from home and then progress to campus to complete the remainder of their degree. In order to advance to UOW College via University of Wollongong students must achieve an overall Pass in all modules of the Global Online Accelerator Program. Students will study the following 4 modules with The WorldGrad.

2. WGBU160 - Economic Essentials for Business
3. WGBU130 - Introduction to Management
4. WGBU101 - Marketing Principles
After the completion of the Smart Program, students progress to the University of Wollongong via UOW College to study the remaining core and elective courses on campus and complete the degree.
