By pursuing this degree, this course aims to expand your understanding of various business and marketing principles, their interrelationships, and practical applications. It offers specialised modules that teach you how to analyse the influence of organisational, political, social, technological, cultural, and ethical factors on the business and marketing landscape. You will explore and prioritise issues related to managing business and marketing activities in diverse global contexts, providing you with a comprehensive perspective on opportunities within the marketing and business domains. Consequently, you will acquire knowledge of the methods and techniques used to develop solutions based on evidence to address contemporary business and marketing challenges. This knowledge will enable you to critically interpret business information and utilise your understanding of enterprise management, brands, and markets to propose, substantiate, and implement effective business and marketing strategies. The Global Year-1 program is designed for students who want to accelerate their undergraduate education, saving time and money while building a solid academic base in Australia, Singapore or the UK. The program allows students to complete up to one year of their undergraduate degree remotely from home and then progress to campus to complete the remainder of their degree. In order to advance to De Montfort University students must achieve an overall Merit (with no failed modules) in The WorldGrad's Global Year-1 program. Students will study the following 8 modules with The WorldGrad.
After the completion of the Smart Program, students progress to the De Montfort University to study the remaining core and elective courses on campus and complete their degrees.
