The BSc (Hons) Cyber Security program is designed to provide a comprehensive understanding of IT security, including hacking, forensics, and the evolving technologies related to this rapidly changing field. Aligned with the research expertise of our computing department, this course goes beyond theory and offers a practical experience through real-life projects in the second and third years, preparing students for employment in the industry. Students are given opportunities to build and configure computer and network systems, as well as the necessary support systems, to effectively work in various professional environments. The program also covers the challenges associated with managing such systems, particularly network security. By combining elements of computer science, computer programming, network technologies, and software development with a focus on cyber security, this degree equips students with the knowledge and skills to adapt and excel in the field. Practical tasks are employed to facilitate learning, ensuring students become versatile and well-informed professionals in the cyber security domain.

The Global Year-1 program is designed for students who want to accelerate their undergraduate education, saving time and money while building a solid academic base in Australia, Singapore or the UK. The program allows students to complete up to one year of their undergraduate degree remotely from home and then progress to campus to complete the remainder of their degree. In order to advance to Wrexham University students must achieve an overall Pass (with no failed modules) in The WorldGrad's Global Year-1 program. Students will study the following 8 modules with The WorldGrad.
After the completion of the Smart Program, students progress to Wrexham University to study the remaining core and elective courses on campus and complete their degrees.
