Program Overview

The BSc (Hons) Cyber Security program is designed to provide a comprehensive understanding of IT security, including hacking, forensics, and the evolving technologies related to this rapidly changing field. Aligned with the research expertise of our computing department, this course goes beyond theory and offers a practical experience through real-life projects in the second and third years, preparing students for employment in the industry. By combining elements of computer science, computer programming, network technologies, and software development with a focus on cyber security, this degree equips students with the knowledge and skills to adapt and excel in the field.
