The Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Media Studies program at Fisher College is an interdisciplinary program that combines courses in communication, advertising, public relations, journalism, and video production. The program examines the relationship between media industries, culture, and society, fostering a nuanced understanding of communication processes. By emphasising both theory and application, students develop the skills to become effective communicators and informed consumers of media messages.
The Journalism concentration within the Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Media Studies program aims to provide students with a strong foundation in news writing and reporting across different mediums, including newspapers, radio, television, and the Internet. The instruction focuses on the fast-paced nature of today’s media news cycle, emphasising advanced skills in Internet research, source verification, effective interviewing, blogging, and adapting news stories for various audiences and platforms. Graduates of this program are prepared for careers in journalism, business or non-profit writing, or further study at the graduate level.

The All American Undergraduate Program is designed for students who want to accelerate their undergraduate education, saving time and money while building a solid academic base in the USA. The program allows students to complete up to one year of their undergraduate degree remotely from home and then progress to campus to complete the remainder of their degree. In order to advance to Fisher College, students must achieve a minimum GPA of 2.0 in The WorldGrad's All American Undergraduate Program. Students will study up to 10 modules (up to 30 credits) with The WorldGrad from the following list of subjects.
After the completion of the Smart Program, students progress to Fisher College to study the remaining core and elective courses on campus and complete their degrees. Once on campus, students will be eligible for CPT and OPT during and after completing their studies.
